Dr. Carr Hyatt III - Veterinarian

Dr. Carr Hyatt, a Kingsport native, is a 1970 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University.

After graduation he served two years in the US Army Veterinary Corps. In 1972 he started Colonial Heights Animal Hospital. Dr. Hyatt has served as president of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and also served a term on the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Currently, he is serving on the Dean's Alumni Council at Auburn's College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Hyatt is married and he and Jamie are the parents of two grown daughters and have 3 beautiful grandchildren. The Hyatt's live on a small farm and enjoy raising sheep.
